Pole Dancing Serena Smith from Dance Finesse achieves PDC Approved 4 star status.

Serena received her 2 references for her 4 star application from PDC Pole Dancing Pioneer Karen Chaundy and PDC Approved 3 star Pole Dancing Instructor Tiffany Finney-McRory.
Reference – Karen Chaundy:
“Serena is a well deserved 4* applicant and highly deserves recognition for her pole addiction!
As with many of us Serena eats, sleeps and drinks pole, and is fuelled along by her wonderful
students that share her passion. Serena has created a beautiful pole studio in the Ribble Valley to
ensure pole addictions may be scratched 24/7!
I have taught Serena Pole 1-2-1′s and find her to be very keen to learn and is gutsy when
challenged to learn something new. She brings a long list of moves to conquer to each 1-2-1 lesson
and is determined to achieve them all and take her new skills back to share with her students.
It is a pleasure to know Serena as she simply oozes all things POSITIVELY pole!”
Tiffany Finney-McRory:
“Serena clearly lives for pole fitness and the students she instructs. She is constantly involving herself in all aspects of the community such as attending workshops all over the country, volunteering for various competitions/workshops and more. She is a dedicated instructor and is
always actively trying to improve her own knowledge and technique for herself, her students and for the community as a whole. Serena has a very inclusive attitude towards pole and someone who actively ingratiates their lives in this community as much as Serena deserves recognition.”

I currently hold 78 students on my register.
Student’s pole dancing success:
I have 3 students entering competitions this year, Emma – Pole for U and I which unfortunately she was injured and had to pull out. Sezen – Northern Pole Princess and Alice is currently working towards a routine to find a competition for. 5 of my students had intended to enter UKAPP this year but sadly this is postponed til next year.

I am an ambassador for Pole Dance Dictionary. I have held workshops for Bendy Kate, Jess Leanne Norris and Double Trouble (Dan and Stevie) and will be holding workshops every three months at my studio. I was chaperone to Marlo Fisken whilst hosting her Manchester workshop.

Pole Dancing Goals & Aspirations:

I would also like to find the time to create, perfect and perform/ enter pole fitness competitions my aim is to enter JLN UKPAC Instructor category in 2013. I would like to eventually go part-time at my full-time job and run more Pole Fitness classes.
